Dogs and Croatian beaches

Hi,

we are travelling to croatia this summer to mali losinj and taking with us our little dog /an australian terrier/6kg...i am wondering if anyone can tell me if we will be allowed to take our little doggie with us to most of the beaches? i hope croats are not biggots when it comes to dogs, if so then we will just have to find some other place to go, where they actually love animals.

anyway, hope anyone can advice us.
